Prickly pear cafe Scottsdale. Mexi-can’t food Safe from Agents sands need to shoot the chef

Prickly Pear “Fresh Mexican grill”Northsight Road, Scottsdale.

This may be the site that kicks off a blog relating to eateries in and around the Scottsdale Airpark. They are stacking in so many places that within a month I could have lunch in twenty separate places < 10 minutes from my work.

Prickly Pear was on their second chance after we had noticed some poor reviews from the county re the food prep and condition of the plumbing. Returned today and ended up with food that would be surpassed by many convention center commissaries ( bold claim) but if you’re having issues with black beans ( way too hard) and the shredded beef if more like a tail than shredded then it doesn’t matter that the sweet sweet smell of sewer totally turned me off eating.

We bought

Steak quesadilla

Shredded beef burrito

One drink

$17.34

I have been to this restaurant more then a couple times and never had bad food or smelled anything as you described. I get the feeling your more of the traditional critic, just bitchy to actually give purpose to yourself.

Post was made in 2006. It’s now 2009 and things may have changed considerably since then. It appears to have gone out of business and then reopened. I lack the foresight to project my lunch three years into the future.
